The afternoon drive was the most beautiful I have been on
through Highway 101 and Scenic Route 1 passing endless vineyards and ranches
full of history and lush vegetation (yes, my wording might be slightly
influenced from my tour book). Tonight
we are camped at the Camperantia State Beach Park just south of Santa Barbara for
our one-night off and we are literally a stone’s throw from the beach. I can hear the waves now as I write and God
couldn’t have placed us at a better spot.
The kids played for over an hour just running on the sand and splashing
in the waves before supper and we enjoyed a family camp fire before
bedtime. A much needed renewal day for
all...
